Making jam or preserves is a great way to make fresh fruit last longer. We need volunteers with the skills to make jam, chutney, cordials or dried fruit.
Often there is a surplus of citrus fruit in winter on the North Island, and this is when our marmalade makers are most in demand.
If you can make jam or preserves for Community Fruit Harvesting, we’d love to hear from you. We also gratefully accept donations of sugar and bottles for jam making or money to buy ingredients.
